m42 oil cooler??

Have any of you fitted an oil cooler to a 318is? I rally mine and it gets very hot when thrashed! If anyone has any info ie were to buy parts etc i would be grateful

hiya jono,
i've not done it yet mate but it's on the list, i was going to make one on the cheap from a 325 lump but haven't got round to it yet. you can buy them in kit form off ebay usually from a company called mocal, i've seen one fetch £150 which i thought was cheap seems as t was brand new! perhaps you could compromise and buy a sandwich plate from mocal and the cooler of a 325i? as i said i haven't looked into it in great detail yet. cheers
