I've had my 2nd 325i e30 for a lil bit now and after changing the AFM (thx Fozzy) it's still running really rich. I know you can adjust the c02 on the afm and was wondering if it's worth trying to do this yourself if I can get hold of an air/fuel meter or just paying a garage to adjust it for me.

If people think it will be cheaper and more accurate to have it adjusted at a garage then is there anyone who could recommend a decent garage in the Bournemouth area. I've got a couple of other things to do first to see if it helps but I think this is going to be the overall conclusion...

Thanks in advance

There is a member here that works in a garage off the Ringwood Road, near Trents. I can't remember his name at the moment, give me a while i might remember it.

The AFM adjuster is only for the idle mixture, at higher revs the mixture is set by the ECU, there are a number of things that effect the mixture.

At what engine revs / heat do you reckon it is rich?
