Just done a couple of 1/4 mile runs on the g-tech and turns out my clutch doesn't like abuse, at all. Slipping through third as well.
Does anyone do an uprated clutch for the M42? Would go standard but uprated ones aren't usually much different in price?
Also, isn't the flywheel on the M40 lighter? worth changing at the same time?
M42 Clutch and possibly flywheel upgrade?

m40 flywheels are lighter yes....
as for ure clutch,..... sounds like uve got a non genuine one... get a standard equipment sachs one fitted and it should be fine

I think it might be old as I can't find a receipt for one anywhere and it's done 170k... standard ones ok then I guess?

yep..... make sure its a proper sachs one,,,,, from original manufacturer..
my sport has a stock sachs clutch with 220lbft torque and is fine with the power...
