hi guys i have sold a gearbox for a 325 to a ebay user Http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &rd=1&rd=1

Part code is 1043010507 he has now come back to me saying its the wrong one and his is 1043010513 anyone know the differents between the two and should i give him is money back as the part number was un clear but he could have ask and also inspected when picking the item up (and i have spent the money)

First let me say I know nothing about auto boxes whatsoever. but it's clearly advertised as a 4HP22, and it's from an E30, so that's what he bought, and that's what he's got.
If he want's it for an E30, then it should fit. If it's not for an E30, then he shouldn't have bought it, or should have done his research more carefully.
Either tell him to register on here, and we'll see if we can sort it out, or I can see no reason why he shouldn't sell it on by putting it back on ebay.
He might even make a profit.

yeah he said something about the amount of conecters on the plug for the sports mode switch
and something else about the matel cable (am not sure what thats for)

as i've found out the switchable auto is a lot different to a standard auto :(
with the switchable its got a whole other loom all around the interior, ecu in the boot, different engine loom to the standard one and a kickdown switch on the pedal.
At a guess one of you has a standard auto.
There is NO nucleus.
