Anyone got any recommendations of Thatcham approved immobilisers (or alarms) ?
Any that are worth avoiding like the plague..?
Im looking at having this fitted so i get a certificate to show the insurance co. - any recommendations for shops in the hampshire area?

keep an eye out on ebay. i got a toad thatcham cat 1 on there for about Ԛ£100 and the seller included full car specific fitting instructions too!
took me a day or so to fit but if you love your car, don't let someone fit an alarm in 2 hours! they'll never spend teh time to do a proper job. if you have the time you can bury it all very well.
to get thatcham certification, you only need to get it inspected by an approved installer (Ԛ£20 ish i've heard). if you don't need it, then it's a damn good alarm for not much wedge!
