wipers

i put the windsreen washer on and the wipers wouldnt stop as well as the screen wash carried on until the bottle was empty, strange i know any ideas fellas, cheers spook

I had exactly the same problem last month on my spare 318is. I managed to trace the problem to the main wiper relay in the fuse box (if my memory server me correct it's the big black relay on it's own at the top of the fuse box). The relay had just jumped out slightly - pushed it down and all sorted. Hope this helps!
