dnt think 205s would stretch that far and still be safe fella
i know twiggy had to get 215s for his borbets
ps i have 7.5x16s and have 225s on the rear with no trouble at all and my cars pretty lowww

What offset? You may be very, very lucky with exactly the right offset, but I reckon any offset with a 9 might cause issues.
If it's not lowered it will look stupid. If you lower it you'll have to get Ԛ£1k+ ready to spend on arches.

Ive got 16x9 wheels on the cab with 205/40/16 tyres, but I cant go any wider on the front otherwise the tread will protrude out of the arch making them illegal.
If and when I get round to chanding the tyres though, I would go for a bigger sidewall, like 205/50/16, that way it will fill the arch better and wont put so much force on the sidewall.
Ill try to dig out a pic later, I cant view any pics while at work.

but do theyfit with out rubbing stevic?? its an IS so its on the m-tech stuff which is slightly lower anyway -25 on standard???? looking at the borbet bs in the forsale section! i realy realy like these and am very tempted if they would fit the car with out Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£ spent on the arches. any one know if you can get borbet b's in a 15" or smaller width 8" say?

My car is lowered 60mm and the only time they rub is on quite alot of lock on uneven ground, and that is just against the suspension strut (outer sleeve). Even when I hit those big dips on the motorway they dont rub, and ive got 2 15" subs in the boot.

I'd be carefull how far you stretch tryes on wide rims.......mine are 9x16 with 215/40 16 toyos and there aint much grip in the wet, makes corners real fun!!!!!

I think the offset is 35 but ive got 15mm spacers on the front, an offset of 15 should give all the clearance needed.
Yes I do still have the arch lines, and I have had no arch work done.
