Hi to all,
Been having a bit of a problem on the front end of my 325i.
It started as a loud clicking sound when ever I went over a bump and steering shake from about 50 upwards.
After a while I found that the bearing in the o/s top mount had gone and replaced it. The clicking went and the steering better although not perfect.
But all too soon the wheel shake started to get worse again.
Had a look round again and found that the n/s shock is now leaking oil and jacking the car up has made it worse with it now shaking from about 35 upwards especially when accelerating as well as the steering being on the fague side.
I know the shock needs changing but can't help feeling that I'm missing something and just changing the shock won't cure the problem. (would do both sides)
Any ideas please would be very much apreciated as its a pain in the *** to keep taking the front end apart.
Front suspension/steering problems still not fixed
