Bought me a 325i SE a couple of months ago, got some service history with it but can't find any mention of it ever having a new cam belt. So I want to get it changed asap, however funds are very short at the mo so I was considering doing it myself.
I'm a bit apprehensive though as getting it even slightly wrong could be very expensive. Look easy enough in the Bentley manual, but I'm still not convinced.
So advice please, I've done various smaller jobs before but nothing quite as risky as this, I reckon I could do it, but should I? If I do, is there anything I should be aware of, any hints and tips?
I guess quite a few of you guys have already done this, so your opinions would be very valuable.
Thanks.

Nothing too difficult. remove the radiator, mark the pulleys with white paint before you take the old belt off and renew the tensioner idler as well.
Have a good look at the dis. cap and rotor while they're off as well.

I asked this a while ago (but still haven't done it) and I was directed to this guide which seems quite comprehensive: http://www.totalbmwmag.co.uk/HandsOn/TechSept01.PDF
