heater probs

does anyone know where the resistor board is for the heater settings? mines only workin on numbers 2 and 4, on 1 and 3 heat still comes out when driving at speed but no blower. ive heard this is a common fault so hopefuly someone out there knows! its a 318i m40. thanks in advance

Resistor pack is just above the electric heater valve on the left side of the heater.
Drop glove box fully, remove panel above, and panel to the right and you should see it.
Unusual to work on 2, if it doesn't work on 3. May possibly be the switch and not the pack.

no wonder i couldnt find it, everyone told me its in the engine bay! your a genius!
i,ll give the switch a check first, sounds easier, and at first number 3 was intermitant so sounds more likely to be that. thats another
your owed!
