Other than taking off the drain plug, how if (pos) can I heat up the oil to help it drain so no slundge :wink/Cr*p is left in the box.

Hi folks, have a 325i 1990 cab. Has been standing for a few years while I have been playing with her. She dose not run at the mo but would like to put new gear box oil in her.
Other than taking off the drain plug, how if (pos) can I heat up the oil to help it drain so no slundge :wink/Cr*p is left in the box.

Just leave it draining for a day or so.
Just make sure you can undo the fill plug before undoing the drain plug.
