front shocks

need some advice ,front shock is leaking so time to change them,
325 j reg auot conv, lowered 40mm, used daily ,
what should i go for gas /normal
what make
also how easy are they to change any tips , I know I need to get a tool to compress the springs, any tips or advice appreciated

I would go for gas ones.
The make depens how much you want to pay.
