cleaning the spray bar under the rocker cover made my 318i a lot quieter, only about Ԛ£9 to replace it i think, but i dont have a motor factors or dealer nearby

Hi I did as above plus cleaned as much old oil from the rocker cover using gunk plus the plastic insert under the rocker cover mopped up any old oil that was lying about the top of the engine.New spray bar, bolts plus gaskets fresh oil plus filter Castrol 15/40 [I think, can is in work] and everything is sounding not to bad.[for a 316i M40].dobbie82 wrote:cleaning the spray bar under the rocker cover made my 318i a lot quieter, only about Ԛ£9 to replace it i think, but i dont have a motor factors or dealer nearby
Oil was Castrol Magnatec 15/40 for conventional engines
