Hopeing to get my e30 through the MOT soon :drive: (having been off the road for a year), however there are a few niggles that i'm not sure about i.e if they are a fail or a pass:

The rear valance has a fist sized rust patch and daylight is starting to peep through.

A 10p sized hole on the scuttle panel a couple of cm below the windscreen.

A small hole to the right of the throttle pedal where i stupidly jacked the car up and put the jack stands under there(i thought they were jacking pads) although apart from this it seems structually sound.

And the idle speed is a little high(about 1000rpm).

I will get all these properly sorted out swiftly just at the mo i am getting impatient to get my baby through the MOT.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Dan

Its a 320i on a j plate with a 2.5 engine which i transplanted myself.

looks like i'll have to get that welded up then, i can sort out the idle speed.

So you think the scuttle panel and the valance arent major problems then? :)
