As in the subject above, has anyone changed a fuse box on a E30 325i?

Is it a matter of unplugging, or is soldering involved?

don't even go there  i tried a few years back to remove one for a full respray and ended up backing out and pushing it back and forth instead for ease and iam a commercial and domestic electrician by trade.

some of the connections are spade which isn't a prob but most are a push fit design that take hrs of tedious tantalizing to remove with the strangest tools you can lay your hands on!!! i tried using a dentists pick as it goes best bet if you can get away with it is like cliffybabe did from the start... push it out the way winkeye

i had a burnt out fusebox on my old 320i few years back in the end i replaced the complete wiring loom which to be honest is prob easier than a fusbox replacement
