Came home from my Girlfriends last night, parked up my E30 M3 on the road, and then just gone out to it now, and it wont fire up.
Turning over, and when ignition is on, can hear relay click as i switch it on,

Put circuit tester onto coil, and no power seems to be going to it, Checked all fuses, but dunno how to check relays. :?

Anyone any ideas ?

HELP !!!

i can try a wire onto the coil, direct from battery, see if it starts, although i'd rather not mess about like that. :?

power the coil directly as you've suggested dude( will do no harm), if she still wont go , replace the DME relay and try again.

any alarm/immob fitted btw ??

Gave the ECU a slap, (under dash panel already off + carpet out as ive been in process of finding a water leak) and it started.

Cut out a few times on way to the unit, but re-started, then again on way to shop. Loose wire maybe ? or loose plug or connector on ECU ?

Reckon pluging it into a diagnostic would show anything up ? :?:

not directly above, but on same side.
Damp maybe even ?

Also, where would be best place for a set of rear lowering springs ?

It wasnt the Heater matrix, the matrix is brand new, and i've had the pipes off it, new rubber rings and sealed it up, so thats illimated. There is a rusty (to feel) patch under the sound deadener, under the fusebox. water will be coming from there.

HOWEVER, the Bass tard cut out three or four times on me today, seems when i push the plug on the ecu upwards it helps, but it could just be my imagination.
As it's about to conk out, i can still hear the fuel pump relay, so i'm doubting it's that. ITS DOING my HEAD IN !
