can anybody advise me on which lowering kit ie, springs and shocks is the best value for money and where to purchase!! 40mm drop! My car is a 1988 e30 325i touring!

AVO springs work superbly on this car. I have tried them on my touring and E30Pilot has them\on his.
Give a nice ride, not overly firm and give superb flat handling using even standard good condition shocks. No need to upgrade shocks unless you want super ultimate handling but you will get a harsder ride.
They cost around Ԛ£90 inc postage from most places.
Highly recommended.
+ I used them with Koni Adjustable shocks and the result was totally unreal.
