Hi. I have a 1986 325i which i use for track days.Unfortunatly due to recent events the tappets are becoming a little noisey. Is it an easy job to re-set them? Do i need shims etc? any help would be great.

Fully adjustable by rotating eccentric discs. All you need are a feeler guage, a 10mm spanner a screwdriver and a short piece of stiff rod (allen key will do) to rotate the discs.
22mm spanner to rotate the engine is usefull as well.
