i remember reading a long time ago that someone (i think simon) cleaned the icv with tea? how is it done?
is it best to leave it only 1/2 or 3/4 submerged as i am afraid i will damage a elictric internal compnonet of the icv by fully submerging it
cheers
how do you clean icv with tea? (simon maybe)

some interesting stuff cleaning on here! one of the best tips i know is using kettle limescale remover to de-coke valves. a 15 minute simmer in an old pan and the horrible hard stuff just dissolves and wipes off with a rag!Andy335Touring wrote:I'm spoiled, theres one just 2 miles down the road.Motor factors are 25 miles away too.

oh, i'm more spioled with motor factors. my local (independant) GSF retailer is 1 mile from my work and the cheapest motor factor is next door to my work!
