Hi guys,

I am i need of some advice.

I have a wet floor!

Firstly can anyone send me some pictures/diagrams of the rear drainage tubes at the rear of the sunrood tray. If you have any please send to gareth.briggs@ntlworld.com

I have tested the sunroof and its definately the rear drainage tube. The water runs into the boot area then down onto the seat base and eventually onto the floor.

What is the best method for un blocking the rear tubes?

Thanks

Gareth

Hi All,

I know there have been a fair few threads on this fault, is there anyone who has done a complete strip down with photo's that can help me out?

Its friggin raining, more investigation have shown that the water comes out over the rear suspension top mount, I guess that the hose has come off because i can blow on it and the does not seem to be a blockage.

Its friggin raining like you would not believe here this morning.

I cannot see the rear drain holes with the sun roof in place.

Any advice temporary fix's.

Or is this just a head lining sunroof and window out job.......Could I get away with just taking down the drivers side rear section of the head lining and only removing rear window and rear quater window/s?

Cheers

Gareth

Not wishing to worry you, but I suspect this is a larger problem than the pipe coming off

It's getting more common these days for the rear corners of the sunroof tray to rust out (where the drain pipe attaches), and the water runs down the inside of the headlining.

Someone did post up a picture not all that long ago.
