i'm struggling to find a good replacement head for my 1991 e30 325i touring (cracked head horror!!!)

what are the differences between the 2.5 head and the 2.0 head? i know there chambers will be smaller but are the valves and ports a different size?

could a 320 head simply give me a lovely (hugely high) CR?

or could i be thinking of a crap idea?

I have a good 120k mileage 325 head here with no cracks or anything. £200

For info, a 320 head wont work, the combustion chambers are smaller.
