i got a set of boschԚ´s the other day from the stealers, 20 quid for 6 :?

anyway the coding was (and im not to sure on this) w8dc

i tried fittin them but i couldnt get the ht back on so i checked the old one against the new and the tops were totally different (also the Ԛ´trode at the bottom but later for that one)

anyway, i goes back to the dude and said they were wrong and i needed a w8lcr (?)

he was looking for about 10 minutes for these things, only to tell me he didnt have Ԛ´em.

now for the funny bit.. he goes over to one of thier "mechanics" who informs my plug deficient friend that the w8dc will work as long as i unscrew the bobbin thingy on top

what a waanker :? we finds out almost straight away that the new "bastardised" plug is too long in the electrode part and is peeking into the cylinder (my own analysis as they didnt see it) so i asked them to order me some and ill be getting them on monday

Question is, Do we all have these weird looking plugs or am i just unlucky? ive got a 90 touring m20 2.0

they have given you plugs for an M50 engine dude.

NGK for a chrom bumper 325, all the plug you'll even need, get them @ halfords, no need for flashy multi electrode types either.

Dealers are useless for e30s unless you can give them the part number 8)

if you go to gsf they'll cost about Ԛ£9 a set. i got mine from a local gsf distributor (hastings continental) and they were bosch... can't remember the numbers though.

remember, in halfords, they will cost about Ԛ£18 for 4 and you'll have to buy 8!!!

i may need a new cable set though :( as when i took off the first ht, i found a couple of what looked like clip edging in black plastic (where it clips onto the plug for a good fit) so now i reckon it may pop off as im driving which would be shit
