Hey guys, wondering if anyone might help me out here, I have a 1993 325i (e30)convertible and I just replaced the slave cylinder...2 days later I get this whine when I press the clutch down , it still shifts but ,that dam noise...oh and I get a bit of pedal vibration as well, goes away when I press the clutch down.

HELP!!!.......will post pics soon

Doesn't sound anything to do with the slave cylinder to me.

Normally if the clutch release bearing (or thrust bearing as it's also called) is worn it makes a noise and sometimes even a vibration which goes away when you push the clutch pedal down. Sometimes even new ones do it a bit so it's likely to be nothing to worry about, depends just how bad it is!
