Well here I go again.

Took my Touring for an MOT today and it looks like a rear brake pipe is corroded so I though I'd get underneath and have a prod about.

Once I stripped the brake line out of the tee piece and to the inner hose I noted how shabby the hoses were looking. Whilst noticing the shabbiness I noticed the rear anti roll bar bushes are poor too.

You can see where this is going can't you....

Whilst prodding the rear anti roll bar bushes I though "hmm, what about the trailing arm bushes..... Why not drop the subframe and do them too...... But, that would mean dropping the diff so why not chuck in an LSD and.....to hell with it, why not use pretty modified bushes and......sod it, get the trailing arms and crossmember powder coated ... Coilovers, yeah!
AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!! My head is going to explode!!! I've just got too much time on my hands! Why can't I just keep things simple - Is it just me?

Before I rebuild the entire rear end can anyone tell me:

Best bushes to use for this if I'm gonna go crazy (I assure you I will) :D

And any pitfalls other than shear stupidity that I might face winkeye

Best place other than ebay to find a decent LSD?

Any suggestions that are repeatable please?

NOTE TO SELF: Why do I have so many damn BMW's?

If you are going for it consider welding in camber/caster adjusters on the subframe and sway bar tab reinforcemnts on the railing arm.
