Hi yall,is there any way to brighten up the lighting on the instruments incl. the heater/fan lighting etc?.All the bulbs are working, but even with the dimmer on the headlight switch turned up full they still seem a little dim.I've cleaned up all the orange light conducting plastic to the rear of the panels etc. Suggestions welcome, Cheers.

Can't say I've ever heard anyone make this complaint before, Wonder if your dimmer is working properly?
Pull out the rear ashtray and extract the bulb and its holder. Connect a piece of wire between the brown/white wire and a good body earth and see if the lights go any brighter.
The bulbs in the cluster are 3.3W (IIRC). Don't change them for 5W ones or the orange plastic will melt.

Thanks I'll give it a try.Have you any idea why the range function on the obc isn't accurate?I've cleaned the contacts at the connector and it works for a while then goes back to its usual reading of 36miles and 10 or 12 litres(pressing 1000 and 1 buttons together)This seems to be a very common fault. thanks again.
