Have now replaced all 4 discs and pads, all ECP and GSF parts. I'm sick to the back teeth with pissing brake squeal. I've got copper ease on all the points where the pads touch the carriers and calipers and have had them all out, cleaned and re-greased a second time since fitting. The squeal drives me mad, It's like a bus pulling up at the traffic lights. (no touring jokes thanks)
So any ideas guys, I'm sure my iS never did it.

Like buster said, you could rub the corners off the pads, concreate is good for this
Or get some different pads.
I removed these from my car the other day, squealed from day one, and on top of that they were all cracked and the braking was shite

I got some from the dealers for about Ԛ£24 and they are much better even though theyre not bedded in fully. The make is Textar

interesting. The pads are I think ATE, no powerdiscs though.
The brakes themselves don't work too bad, not fantastic, but when I'm giving the car a good caning around the lanes, they are fantastic once they are hot. Poodling around town they've not got much bite.
It feels like one of the discs is warped though, because it doesn't come to a smooth stop, but you can feel the brakes bite more on the high points the slower you go. No judder braking from speed though.
