blue relay?

hi to all, can anybody tell me what the blue relay is for thats behind the glove box, to the left hand side?as my car will only fire up with the fuel pump relay out and a live feed to pins 30&87 of that socket anybody had this before??? p.s is an 89 sport

thats the electric window open door relay. and has nothing to do with the fuel pump.

thanks for that, iam not geting any power to the e.c.u&fuel pump relay at all, known comman known problems why this should be?

You mean linking 30 and 87 together, or linking them together and connecting them to a live feed?
