Don't want to know how to do it, as there're plenty of articles on the internet about it. I just want to know, is it a nasty job or not? How long does it take? And is it worth it - will it tighten up the gearshifts noticeably?
Cheers,
Ian

I think to rid yourself of sloppyness you will need to replace the bushes that are tough to get to. Think it's called the shift arm. That includes dropping the gearbox one side. More durable bushes are available from the US I think.

i can move my gearstick from extreme left to right and i mean across whole throw of stick when its in gear!!!
in neutral there is no resistance at all! change is very sweet and theres no knocks or clunks from the box so im guessing my bushes are mullered
