I am looking for some BBS split rims for one of my 325i Tourings, but information I am getting is a little confusing regarding the correct offset.
Rochford Tyres say it should be 15-25 but a highly reputable source within the E30 fraternity quotes 15-18. At between £500-£1000 for a set of rims I need to be sure this that I have got it right.
The specs offered are: Rim Width: 7J, Tyre Width: 195, Rim Diameter: 15 in, Aspect Ratio: 50, Offset: 25, Number of Studs: 4, BBS part No: RS001
Any helpful comments will be much appreciated

The standard 15x7 BBS wheels (the ones on the tourings in your sig pic) have an offset of 24, so you should be ok with 25.

Many thanks, James, for your quick reply and helpful comments. Should look good on the blue one then.

The tyre size is incorrect though.
Standard tyres are 205/55/15.

While we are on the subject with wheels with an offset of 28 fit?
Will they stick out further or less?

Stick out less....the lower the number the further out they sit.

Depending on the width of the wheel, you may need spacers with an offset of 28. 6x14s are ET30, but only 6" wide, so 7" or 7.5" ET28 wheels may fit, but it might be close.

Just out of interest, who said 15-18?NigelA wrote:Rochford Tyres say it should be 15-25 but a highly reputable source within the E30 fraternity quotes 15-18.

Yes, I have 205/55/15's on the current BBS rims so presumably those tyres would not fit onto the splits I am looking atchu346 wrote:The tyre size is incorrect though.
