Hi,

I changed my 325i engine a couple of weeks ago, the old one had to pipes coming from the inlet manifold, then reduced to 1 going inot the servo.

New one only has 1 coming from the inlet manifold and going through a valve into the servo.

Go a replacement valve from the stealers (Ԛ£35inc vat) for the one that has the 2 pipes going into 1 compared the one which is on the new engine which only works out to Ԛ£3 inc vat.

What i want to know is what the differanceapart fromn the obvious extra pipe coming from the inlet manifold.

Is there any performance in breaking or car performance?

Thanx

I changed from the weird multipipe arrangement to just a single pipe and valve the last time I did an engine change on my 325 Touring.
No difference inbrakes at all.
Anyone know what the idea with the two pipe arrangement was?
