my intermitant wiper wont work properly. it judders and never stops at the bottom of the screen i have to turn it off at the right moment. any ideas why?

on the dash ive reset the red oil light with a mates thing we plugged in to the car, but it still has the little picture of the clock and it says "inspection" is this as it should be?

has anyone got the wire part of the ariel? its been unscrewed and stolen.. i dont want to steal someone elses, any one breaking one?

There's an article in the main forum tech thing which goes though removal and reconditioning of the wiper intermittant thing, can do it inside 2 hours eeeeeeasily :D

The motor's under the external grill panel on the passenger side and is accessed through this and the big panel on the bulkhead behind the engine.

The fault's caused by the little contact breaker disc in the motor assy getting all gummed up with shite.

As for the inspection light:
There are 2 functions of the service light...One is the 5green/amber/red indicators that show an oil service is coming up/due/overdue and the other is the annual inspection (timed, and not related to the driving style).

Resetting the oil service lights with the reset tool does not reset the service indicator...you need to use the tool set to "inspection" rather than "oil"...same procedure, though.

If that doesn't work, the batteries on the SI (service indicator) board may need replacing...
