HOW DO I PUT OUT MY INSPECTION LIGHT????

JUST DOING A BIT OF WORK ON THE MOTOR AND LOST THE BIT OF PAPER TELLING ME HOW TO PUT OUT THE INSPECTION LIGHT! I HAD A FEELING IT WAS EARTH OUT NO 7 PIN IS THAT CORRECT???

Hi, why dont you buy a resetting tool from euro car parts for about £15 max. Then you dont need to "short" anything out. Then you can use it for oil services and inspection services. Great bit of kit, and takes 15 seconds to use.

Thanks for the reply but you dont need to spend 15 quid when a bit of wire will do! just need to know which pin.

Yeah but will using that bit of wire put out the oil light as well then reset all the green lights?

thanks dude, pin seven for about 10 seconds did it!!
and yes it does reset the greens aswell.
