got to fit a new trailing arm as I need to replace the rear hub and breakers will only sell it as a complete unit. (going on a cab BTW) is it worth replacing any of the bushes or anything else seeing as it'll be off the car anyway?
Or am i creating more work for myself?
many thanks in advance

If you're just swapping in one trailing arm I would suggest replacing the bushes on both, regardless of their condition.

Yep, more work. But not that much :)

if you got the rear end apart its always worth inspecting the bushes, but they are a pain in the arse to change as they are pressed in and normally require a special tool (but can be done with force!!) if they are knackered or showing signs of cracking best to change them, also if you car is lowered you may as well change them for eccentric bushes as this will reduce the camber on the rear and give better handling and tyre wear.

two bushes hold on the trailing arms (inner and outer), and i can get them at Crazy Abdullahs Camel and Speed Shop, you may have to try Demon Tweeks.

diff bushing worth a check and CV joints/drive shaft dust seals/diff oil seals etc etc , and as you know your Diff oil!

You can buy the eccentric trailing arm bushes from the dealers. They still had them a couple of weeks ago.....
