What happens if your fuel is running at 2.5bar?

Apparently my fuel pressure regulator is a bit sick and I'm getting 2.5bar fuel pressure, what do you reckon this would this do to my car?

block the vacuum referance line dude
the FPR is 3 bar @ atmosphere, most m20's run @ 0.45 bar on the inlet side so the FPR will outut approx 2.5 bar @ idle with the ref line fitted.
repeat the test and report back dude.

Thanks mate, the thing was tested off the car so I'm not sure exactly what procedure was used. I'll report back
