I need a new rear section for my 325i. The UK is pretty expensive for this item. I'm off to the ring again in a weeks time and i'm toying with the idea of my mate buying me a German exhaust and me picking it up from him when I get there.

My question is will an exhaust bought in Germany (LH drive) fit my 325 at home (RH drive)

This is a link to the exhaust. It looks very much to me like what I need (2 piece system, rear section only) but are the kinks correct for a RH drive car?

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

I only asked because I knew the M3 was only LH drive as re-routing the exhaust took too much power from the engine so it stayed LH drive only. At least I think thats the case.

Your sure yeah?

cheers

dude, I'd double check on real OEM or ETK, the manifolds are totally different on LHD E30's. cat converter or otherwise.

Looks promising though as simon already stated.

Rear boxes are the same for LH or RH drive...only issue between them is if you try to fit tubular manifolds etc as it may foul on the steering ...back box is a long way from the steering lol

Are you buying a dealer supplied box as not see its that much cheaper!

Know stainless boxes are available at sensible money

It's a long way from the 'ring to berlin for an exhaust !!!!!

ECP or GSF sell angle exit back boxes for similar money to that one.
