Inspection light came on last weekend. Same day the check panel light randomly kept staying on at start-up. No lights on the check control panel so assumed it was to do with the Inspection light coming on.
Lived with it for a week and reset the SI board on Thursday. Inspection light now off but i still get the check light stopping on when starting the car, still with no faults on the control panel
Any ideas of the cause or what i should be checking?

Is it constantly 'ON' all the time?
'check light' problems can usually be fixed by:
1) Replace the high check panel on the roof OR
2) Replace the check module (if thats what its called) in the boot above the arch

Sorry, should have been more clear, the light flashes on/off even if i press the brake pedal. Only way to get rid of it is to press the button on the roof check panel.
Is the check module in the same place on a Touring?

Not sure about that one then, mine stayed on all the time (solid - not flashing)
Dont know about the touring tbh, I have a unit if you need one though.
