My driving lights are not coming on. This happened a few days ago, i think i "fixed" it but it happened again last night.
What I did:
1) Took out the light switch, took it apart to make sure nothing blew and cleaned up the circuit board. Put in back in and lights did not come on.
2) Checked all the fuses, non were blown, and so absent mindly unplugged and plugged in random fuses. LIGHTS WORKED

Drove to my girls place last night, lights working. Came time to leave and the bloodly lights dont want to come on again. Thank God i have fog lights, they were the only thing that saved me.
All the other lights are working fine, just the driving lights are not coming on.

SO my Q is "What the hell is going on!!!" could it be the switch, fuses(K4), the curry i ate last night...... winkeye

Hi guys. just a quick update, i figured my headlight relay had gone, i got a new one from BMW for R160.00 (around 12 pounds), they didnt have one for a e30 but gave me one for a e32, does the trick, headlights are now working.
Here is a pick of the blown relay:

160 bucks for a relay, moer dis duur!! Would a normal 4/5 pin relay not have worked? As long as the diagrams are the same on the relay it should have worked. Oh well at least its done!!! Hoe gaan dit daar onder? Dit word a bietjie koud nou, somer is verby. Lekker bly
