ignition barrel

Hi Guys anyone know how to remove the ignition barrel have got a new one with keys but dont know where to start lost without my wheels.

do you still have the key for the old one dude ?
if so remove the old by putting the key in P1 and insert a small allen key into the hole in the chrome section around the barrel, wiggle it and it will eventually come out.
new fitting is key in p1, push key/barrel into hole, remove key and thats that, holds itself in place.

its a right PITA, no real technique just use a 1.5mm allen key and wiggle/waggle/prod/poke and she'll come away eventually.
I hate doing these, e36 are worse as they keys normally worn to hell too
