Gear Knocking

Hello all,

I have a problem with my car, when going for 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd especially, when I release the clutch in the new gear I get two jolts throughtout the whole car like:

JOLT quarter a second JOLT

This also happens on 3rd to 4th to less an extended and hardly at all on 4th to 5th, also less noticable on the way down the gear range.

Is this a worn clutch, or what?

I had to replace the slave cyclinder about 2 months ago on my 323i E30
