These tech posts are turning into a habit...
The safety device that stops you opening the boot and roof cover lid at the same time is broken on my E30 Cab. The cable has snapped at the boot end, and appears to have been trimmed off to stop it getting in the way.
Has any one replaced the cable, or do I need the whole unit? Any one made a cable? I was thinking of buying a length of bicycle brake cable and modifying it to fit.
