flickering temp gauge

changed my viscous coupling at the weekend which has much improved cooling in traffic
,but now i have noticed the temp guage needle jumps about a bit from below half way to above half way then settles just below half for a while then jumps about some more

Any ideas

Just tighten the nut on the back of the cluster!
