Dash warning lights

Anyone got a link to what dash warning lights are what?

Looked in the Haynes but cant find owt, did a Google and new/old forum search and cant find owt either!

Had one flash up very briefly today - red one that i think looks like this superb picture i just drew

I think that's the one that tells you when it's sunny... that's why it's hardly ever on...

ok, been out and had another look, looks a bit more like this



Its not lit up normally, only when the engine cranks over - comes on then fades out as the engine starts

Any ideas ?

Brake pad wear warning light... brake pads are getting low dude.

that light started flashing on my car but the pads were fine, it was a sensor that was buggered, so i just took the bulb out!

Coolio - cars having a week of intensive work this week, completely renewing the rear brakes amongst other things so will find out if its those, and im changing front springs so i will give the fronts a looksy too
