Want to fit an Oil Pressure guage to my touring, but where would the pressure sender fit? Engine is the 2.5 M20.
Cheers

I fitted mine to the same hole as the oil pressure switch.
It's about 1/3 of the way back along the block on the drivers side probably 2" above the sump.
The thread's an M12x1.5 which is a bit of a funny size unfortunately

So you did away with the pressure switch?
Any suggestions on which sender to go for?

In my case I was rigging up oil supplies to the turbos so I machined up a block of ali with 4 outlets on it:
1 to the oil pressure gauge which I plumbed in using copper brake pipe and fittings (M10x1)
2 to the turbos, again in copper with brake line fittings
1 to the original oil pressure switch with the M12x1.5 thread.
I've got a mechanical oil pressure gauge so it didn't really have a sender as such.

The other way is drilling and tapping into the oil filter housing, but personally I would go with a T piece adapter like Mr brown said, then retaining your oil pressure switch and gaining the gauge.
