running rough last weekend so i wipped the plugs out and found they were all loose and needed regapping but they were blacker than black and sooty, checked a few other things as well but everything seems ok, i removed the airbox and cleaned the maf but still doesnt seem to have made any difference what so ever.
does anybody know of any other checks that i can make or is there any common faults that i can check out as it also seems to be down on power aswell i.e 120mph tops instead of the quoted 131mph,
any input greatly appreciated.

Blue temp sensor is a strong possibility, if nothing else has been played about with.
