Hello there, i'm considering one of the air filters/induction kits for my 325i Sport. Can anybody with experience tell me which one i should adopt, & there reasons why?
Many thanks, Jo.

Keep the original air box, save or spend your money on something else like a chip or 6 branchBIGJO wrote:Hello there, i'm considering one of the air filters/induction kits for my 325i Sport. Can anybody with experience tell me which one i should adopt, & there reasons why?

Geez (massive), got the BTB 6 branch, 288/288 Schrick cam with high performance valve springs, Zone chip adjusted for the cam, full Scorpion exhaust but wanting more power. Getting a proper exhaust & the ECU all remapped professionally from Powerflow once i can afford it though.
In the meantime i was looking at the air filters/induction kits.
Thanks, Imran.

I've never heard anything bad about the ITG.
The BMC is good but at double the price

I haven't changed much on the Sport to be honest. Someone (can't remember who) said that upgrading the air filter would be beneficial as the car will be able to breathe more, less restriction & more responsive etc. That true or absolute bullocks?

I've got the ITG zoner filter on my cab, i feel it did make a difference to the overall performance to the car, however im gonna go back to the standard air box using my K&N element, as i have now added a 3:91 lsd and full scorpion exhaust system
Must admit the noise the filter makes is wicked

Considering Selling the Cabby, looks like its gonna go

But if the ITG was good, why go back? Is it because you now have a Scorpion? I have a straight hrough Scorpion but just thought it would be ideal to change the standard box for that little more power/noise.

Just remember that the factory airbox is designed with noise levels in mind.
It is compromised.

I have fitted the BMC and the noise is simply gorgeous over 4k!! The fitting is tight though, very tight. Had to make some adjustments to get it in there! That and the BBTB have really made it feel a hell of a lot more responsive, it gives my mates 328isport a hard time.
