Out of ideas on this one now!!

My check light stays on constantly on the dash.

When you first start the car the light is on , but flashes brighter until the brake pedal is pressed, then it just stays on forever and ever.

Ive changed the cluster so its not that

Ive changed the check control module (i think its called) in the boot

Ive swore at it which doesnt work..

I even changed the engine which made no difference..

Usually my last resort is a hammer, but dont think that will solve this one.......

Any ideas what else can i do?

The check light in the instrument cluster is worked from the unit in the roof with the LEDs. Have you replaced this?

I had a similar problem, my check light on the cluster never came on, and the lights on the check panel were all allways on, I got a replacement check panel and fixed both problems. Got a spare one in full working order for Ã‚£7.50 inc P&P if you are interested?
