Retro fit OBC - main control module??

Hi folks

I've (nearly) fitted an OBC into a 1986 325i Sport, thanks to E30Adam and his instructions. Apart from a few wires being different colours, it's all in and working.

However, the instructions refer to plugging into the *main control unit* somewhere behind the glove box. I have some spare wires for this, but what control box are they referring to (I know it's not the relay control unit which is installed by the ECU and works fine)?

There are a couple of wires that plug into the accessories socket behind the glovebox, but no module.
sure that your instructions aren't for a LH drive car, where the relay box is behind the glovebox.
