I am looking to install ABS into my motor - and beforee anyone asks its purely for the piece of mind of emergancy breaking as especially around here every day driving is usually two wheels on the good stuff and two wheels in the dirt/gravel.

I am wondering if pre and post facelift abs ecu's were any different/better/worse than each other?
i presume from the donor car i need sensors - brain - pump -
did someone mention a cylinder

any advice on retro fitting abs greatfuly accepted.

Plus hubs, struts, trailing arms.

No idea on pre / post facelift differences.

No need to change master cylinder, just blank off one hole.
You will see this on your donor car.

Once the hubs etc are changed its not a hard job at all, I think you can buy the pump mounts from the dealers but I just cut them off the donor for mine 8)

Holes for the ABS sensors, I suppose, with the toothed wheel visible through the hole, or, more likely, sensors with chopped wiring still fitted.
