On one of my damaged and broken M Coupe rear swing-arms lives my new rear calliper. When the swing-arm was torn from the crash damaged car I salvaged, the flexible brake hose was snapped off at the calliper. To use the calliper on the replacement swing-arm I have will require the end of the coupling to be carefully drilled out and the thread cleaned/re-tapped with a tap set or thread restorer.
Does anyone know the size/pitch of this thread? I imagine it's a standard size or at least the same as most BMW brake lines.
Many thanks in advance guys.

i beleave they are a M10x1
thats the most common size of brake pipe connectors that we use at work but no promises........ the calipers are cast iron so re-tapping might be weak and i personally wouldn't use a helecoil.
personally i would get a re-con caliper if an easy-out dosent work (hardened tool with a tapered reverse thread)
