Folks,
I've finally got myself round to fixing the speedo cable, and just before I use my axle stands for the first time, do I really put them under the (rear) axles? or under the jacking points, or a suspension component?

Could someone tell me the best place to support the car please?!

I'm pretty sure this is a dumb question, but better safe than sorry.....

I had some fun with my brand new (never been used) trolly jack, jacked the front end up, put the axle stand under the jacking point, tried to lower the car but it just dropped the jacking point on the axle stand and BENT the jacking point meaning if I do need to use the factory jack I have no chance, going to have to get someone to straighten it out. Guess my trolly jack is sh*t, no slow lower option at all.

BE CAREFULL.
